S and More is the creative project of Anthony Van Troost, a craftsman with a passion for designing pieces that are not only functional but also tell a story. As a designer-maker, Anthony oversees every detail—from the first sketch to the final installation.

the beginning
Anthony Van Troost grew up surrounded by wood and tools, learning the craft alongside his father. This early love for creativity and craftsmanship continued to flourish. After his father’s retirement, Anthony moved to Italy, where he drew inspiration from the country’s rich design culture. However, Belgium kept calling, and upon his return, he quickly realized that working for others limited his creativity.
Encouraged by his wife, Anthony decided to forge his own path. This led to the creation of S and More, a name that reflects both his family (Sofie and Anthony) and the versatility of his designs. From furniture made with recycled materials during his student years to refined, bespoke pieces today, Anthony’s journey showcases how passion and dedication always lead to something unique.
